For over 70 years RUBIN AVIATION CORPORATION (JSC AC "RUBIN") has been designing, developing, manufacturing and distributing systems and units for the Russian aircraft industry. Every Russian aircraft is equipped with averagely 20 items made by RUBIN.

Brake System Control Units

Brake System Control Units intended for consequent and selective control of aircraft braking process with continuous monitoring of braking rate. They optimize brake system’s service life providing its high reliability.

Pumping Stations


In order to ensure performance capability of hydraulic systems in emergency situations in case of main hydraulic pumps failure and to perform ground testing of the aircraft hydraulic systems without main engines started, RUBIN Aviation Corporation has designed a family of pumping stations that are driven by three-phase alternate or direct current electric motor. Structurally pumping stations are designed as an axial piston hydraulic pump with electric motor and have four passages (suction, delivery, discharge and drainage).

Hydraulic Motors

The family of hydraulic motors designed by RUBIN Aviation Corporation is intended to converse hydraulic energy of working fluid into mechanical energy of rotating shaft and to serve as actuators, which operate flight control surfaces - ailerons, elevation and vertical rudders, flaps, etc. Structurally hydraulic motor is designed as an axial piston unit with a swash plate.

Unbraked Wheels

Landing gear units made by RUBIN Aviation Corporation are widely used in aviation industry for installing on main and nose landing gear struts of all types of aircraft. Braking and unbraked wheels constitute a part of landing gear and ensure moving of planes and helicopters when taxiing, taking off, landing, transporting, as well as for reducing landing run and parking brake function. For more efficient braking and lesser tire tread wear the anti-skid automatics have been integrated into the aircraft brake control system.

Constant Speed Drive Generators

Integrated drive generators designed by RUBIN Aviation Corporation are the primary source of three-phase alternate current with 115/200 V nominal voltage and constant frequency of 400 Hz for onboard power systems. Drive generator is an integral unit consisting of constant speed hydromechanical drive and alternate current generator placed in a single body with common lubricating and cooling system.

Hydraulic Pumps

Hydraulic pumps designed and developed by RUBIN Aviation Corporation are the main source of hydraulic power on the aircraft and depending on the requirements they provide pressure up to 350 bar and capacity up to 140 l/min. Structurally hydraulic pumps are designed with rotating cylinder block scheme , axial piston arrangement, frontal distribution of power fluid and feed control unit.

Brake Wheels
